FE Headers for Fairlanes/Rancheros
The original DOUG’S HEADERS D625 tuned long tube, is specifically designed to fit 390-428 Ford FE engines in very confining engine compartment environments and still give the maximum ground clearance possible.
Applications include: 1966-70 Ford Fairlanes/Rancheros/Torinos and 1966-70 Mercury Comets.
These headers are built with 3/8” thick flanges at the cylinder head using the 16 bolt configuration and 3 bolt outlet flanges. The 4 tube under chassis exit design is made from 16 gauge tubing for durability with 1 3/4”primaries and 3” collectors for increased horsepower and torque. The design accommodates both automatic and manual transmission cars with power brakes, power steering and air conditioning. Power steering applications requires the use of Doug’s bracket PN H7609.
They come standard with a polished high luster heat and corrosion resistant metallic ceramic coating for a rich appearance and long life. These headers come complete with reducers, 1100º F rated gaskets and premium installation hardware. Headers can also be ordered uncoated.
